3. Exhibitions and online events hosted by ISC Education

Exhibitions at ISC Education

If you choose to register for StudyWorld or EDUUK Exhibitions or any other exhibition offered by ISC Education, personal data about and on behalf of you will be processed. Basic contact information is gathered, including full name, e-mail address, phone number, gender, preferred language, country of study, and course of study.

The exhibition’s goal is to provide you with relevant information about the universities/institutions of your choice. You will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from various universities/institutions during the exhibition. By registering for and attending our exhibitions, you grant ISC Education permission to share your contact information with universities/institutions of interest to you. As a result, those universities/institutions may send you relevant information and marketing materials.

Online Events at ISC Education

Similarly, if you choose to register for ISC Education’s online/physical events, such as seminars, webinars, and one-on-one interviews, personal data about and on behalf of you will be processed. Basic contact information is gathered, including full name, e-mail address, phone number, gender, preferred language, account password, country of study, and course of study.

The events’ goal is to provide you with relevant information about the universities/institutions of your choice. By registering for and attending our events, you grant ISC Education permission to share your contact information with universities/institutions of interest to you. As a result, those universities/institutions may send you relevant information and marketing materials.

Disclaimer Regarding Photos and Videos

Please be aware that photographs and videos will be taken at all ISC Education Events. You consent to photography, audio recording, video recording, and its/their release, publication, and/or reproduction by attending the events. This content may be used by ISC Education for promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, promoting similar ISC Education events, or any other marketing purpose. To protect individuals’ privacy, images and videos will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information unless written permission is obtained.

6. How do we store and safeguard your information?

ISC Education stores personal data electronically within the organization on computers that are locked with a personal password, as well as in internal database software that requires the username and password to access.
The data is processed until the end of the service provision, at which point you have the right to request that your data be deleted.
Individually authorized personnel have access to personal data. Our Counsellor keeps all information received from students for the purpose of providing the service. The student’s information is only accessible to the counsellor, Officer Manager, Global Marketing Manager, Head of Partnerships, and one Finance Officer.
All ISC Education employees are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
Multiple backups are kept in a safe and secure location that only senior IT staff has access to. Backups are kept for a maximum of 5 weeks before being deleted.
ISC Education has put in place the following procedure for reporting a personal data breach:
Recognize a breach of personal data.
Developing a response plan for any personal data breaches that occur.
Assign responsibility for breach management.

ISC Education will always keep you informed of changes to processes to protect data privacy and security, including practices and policies, and you may request information on where and how data is stored, secured, and used at any time.
